Now: A new round of ERP systems renewals

According to a recent study conducted by Marketvision, 75% of companies are currently planning an ERP systems development project. Additionally, a quarter of the organizations are planning to replace their ERP by an entirely new system. Previous large round of ERP systems renewals was in the early 2000s.

Changing business needs are forcing companies to invest in ERP systems. BI (business intelligence), supply chain management and product lifecycle management modules are developed in addition to standard material, sales and financial management functions. One of today's trends is to develop a separate and more user friendly application layer, which integrates with the ERP system.
